James Blunt’s “Moon Landing” doesn’t come out for another three weeks. But those looking for a taste of what his fourth studio album, out November 5, has to offer are in for a treat. Today Billboard exclusively has a stream of it in its entirety below:

As Blunt explained during a recent visit to Billboard’s New York City studio for an interview, the success of that former Hot 100 No. 1 single and it going “to a dirty place called ‘Mainstream’” meant that he’d perform at larger than life venues across the world. James began crafting songs that would fill those big forums, but soon wasn’t sure of “how rewarding it was on a personal level.”

Enter “Moon Landing.” “I have written it very much without an audience in mind,” Blunt says of his new set. “In many ways this is, perhaps, the album that I would have recorded if my fast album ‘Back to Bedlam’ hadn’t sold in the way that it did.”

Its anthemic lead single “Bonfire Heart” was co-written and produced by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. “It’s a simple message that anyone can relate to,” Blunt says proudly of the track. “That notion of connection. So the lyrics are really simple: People like us, we don’t need that much. Just someone to light the spark in our bonfire heart.’”

Clearly, Blunt’s latest work has him feeling fulfilled. “It’s not about selling, he says. “It’s not about units. I do what I do because it means something to me.”
